One step closer

So Jacob and I are officially together, just one step closer to being back to where we were. I was beyond happy the Sunday before last when he asked me. We had a great conversation before and after he asked. Our future seems to be coming along. We have had some bumpy roads in between but things are coming along and I am happy with the outcome so far. More updates to come...

Sad to leave...

So I am going to be a total mess on Friday because i have to leave these loving children to go to 6th graders that are going to hate me. I am pretty attached to these 5 and 6 year olds. Getting told 'I love you' everyday is something that i could get used to and going to older children I am not going to get that.
         Last week we did a whole unit on apples and the children seemed to really enjoy it. Here are some pictures of somethings we did:

I should have taken a lot more pictures, but my camera is being crap and it is sometimes awkward to break out your phone and take pictures.

On another note:
    Went back to Atlanta this weekend to the Falcons/Packers game on Sunday. It was a surreal experience being back in the Georgia dome and not having a certain piece of jewelry. I got upset for a moment but of course my love reassured me that everything was ok and that 'He had me.' As much as I love this man and he seems to know the right thing to say, it is really hard to face your mistakes every day. As much good as come out of what happened Jacob still doesn't think it was the thing to do. until he is ok with it we will not be together and we definitely will not be engaged. This is the hardest part of dealing with all of this. I am happier then I have ever been but still regret not being at that point in our relationship.
     Can stop telling myself. 'Everything will work out!'

After everything that I have been through this year, I love what I do and I love this man!

I am madly in love with this man and nothing is going to change that!

Kindergarten

So... I have been slacking lately on my blogging. I have 2 more weeks of Kindergarten left meaning I have been there for 5 weeks. It is a crazy ride. I love the kids but the constant being on top of them is annoying. we have 3 special needs children and 2 with other issues, makes for an interesting day. Pretty much my first day I had a child completely freak out on me, throwing a fit ...kicking and screaming. That was alot of fun! NOT... It is fun to plan the activities, because everything needs to be fun for them so they are engaged. When i take some actual pictures I will post them :) Here are a couple of things I am doing this week:

This past week went well with the FALL unit and they seemed to learn a few things judging by their assessment that I gave today :) I am excited about next week and the fun stuff that the APPLE unit will bring.
