Journey to Mrs. Boyett

When I started this blog Jacob and I had just broken up. That was over 2 years ago. We had been together for 5 years when we had broken up and Jacob was all I knew. I wanted to make sure that this was the man that I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. During those painful four months all I could think about was how Jacob would have done this and how he would have done that. With every guy I hung out with or treated me one way I couldn't help think that Jacob would have treated me better. Before we had broken up we had taken each other for granted, stopped remembering why we loved each other and why we were together. In those months that we were apart those reasons were all I could think about. Around late April a tornado was headed towards Tuscaloosa, while everyone was thinking of a safe place to go to stay safe from the storm, Jacob was thinking about me. I didn't feel well (we will go with that) and somehow Jacob knew I was at my apartment by myself and he called me and said he was coming over, even after trying to argue with him he still came. The tragedy of the April 27th tornado hit Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I knew some of my friends were in a place that had been hit, along with Jacob's house, so we decided to go check it out. When we got to his house everything was OK except all of the houses around it. We then tried to get to a friends house but couldn't get there. We walked around for hours, talking, crying, talking about what went wrong. and after it got dark we met back up with our friends. Jacob had ended up leaving his rain jacket at my place and one night I took it back, we stayed up very late talking. Nothing felt more right and more comfortable then we were that night. He was and is always someone that I can talk to about anything and even silence isn't awkward. Only a few days later did I realize that I wanted to go back to Jacob and work things out. Now getting him completely back was not that easy as you have read in some of my blogs but as you can also see it happened! Even though this part of our lives is not something that I look back at and smile this has made us a stronger couple and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I love Jacob Daniel Boyett and I always will!!
I say all that so you will know exactly what we went through to get to where we are. All the stress, arguments, decision making, pinteresting, and preparation was all worth it for our PERFECT day!

For our honeymoon we went on a cruise to Honduras, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico. We had the best time. We went ziplining, snorkeling, laying on several beaches, and shopping. We could not have had a more relaxing trip.
